DISTRIBUTION in North Carolina: Scattered records for all three provinces.
ABUNDANCE in North Carolina: Casual and presumably overlooked migrant from the South. The species has not been seen by me in North Carolina. It could be overlooked in flight as a Little Yellow.
FLIGHT PERIOD in North Carolina: Probably late summer and fall. The only date available to NC Natural Heritage Program is August 21, 1992, the only report in NC in the 1990s and 2000s; this butterfly was collected at Duck on the Dare County Outer Banks.
